Asus published a new moderate laptop, the Asus F6V, adopt Intel Centrino 2 platform, with 13.3" screen, good perforamce and nice appearance.
For its spec part, 315 X 226.5 X 29.9~36.7mm, 1.99kg weight. Intel Core 2 Duo T8300(45nm, 2.4GHz,3MB L2 Cache and 1066 MHz FSB), Intel PM45 Chipset, 13.3" wildscreen(1280*800 pixels), ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470(256MB DDR2 display card), absolutely enough for high-tech video. Inbuild 3GB DDR2 memory(up to 4GB as maximum), 250GB SATA HDD(5400rpm), totally enough for most user. Microsoft windows Vista Home Premuim as default OS, inbuild with Asus ExpressGate system, power on your system only 10s. Intel Wi-Fi Link 5100 wireless chipset, support 802.11 a/g/n, buletooth 2.1. 10/100/1000 NIC card, different most laptops. By the way, F6V support HDMI port and VGA port, fulfill most media users, easy to connect to projector or LCD TV. One pitty thing is that only support DVD Super Multi, doesn't comes with the high-end spec Blue-ray.
