Overturn Intel Netbook, Dell just announced the first 12." Netbook, Inspirion Mini 12, completely ignore the 10" size spec. But, despite these, what's the selling point of this extraordinary product?
First, we just focus on its spec part, 299 x 229 x 23.3 ~ 27.6 mm, seems like big than Mini 9, but slender(MIni 9 is 27.2 ~ 31.7 mm). Equip with 12.1" 1280 X 800 pixels WXGA screen, better than traditons(only 10.2" and 1024 X 600 pixels), and with 3 Cells battery only 1.24Kg, lighter han Asus Eee PC 100H. Good performance in convenience.
Its processor is Intel Atom Z530, like N270, 1.6GHz, 512KB L2 Cache and 533 MHz FSB and support Hyper-Threading tech, but the maximum power consumption only 2W, average 160~220mW, contrary to N270, reduce 40%. Intel System Controllor Hub Chipset US15W, maximum power consumption is 4.3W(N270 is 11.8W). So that's why its better than others, just save more power.
